Worked on health histories (HHX) today. It can take an ENTIRE appointment to do ONE health history... be prepared people!!! Luckily, because God gave man health adversities, He also gave us (medical professionals) "the bible." It's a book for looking up medications and the oral effects they may have. Second year students swear by it and say it's something we'll cling to...
Vitals? I can do them! Blood pressure, respirations, and pulse... the trick is, don't let people know you're counting their breaths or they change it!
Last but not least, let us not forget the HHX/RX or "Tips for the Next Hygienist!" It's done after each appointment and boy are you grateful for those who did it before you!!
