It was a lab day and a successful one at that! We learned the diagnodent... don't forget to correctly calibrate it! Also if you need help setting it up, just follow the directions you're given. If you still can't get it to work, take it to Mr. Salomon; he can fix it all! Next was appliance cleaning, I'm not sure if the dentures we practiced on were from real patients :-/ I hope not... we didn't wear gloves. Oops! Finally we practiced blood glucose testing. FUN stuff!! Brings back memories of having to do that multiple times everyday. Because our blood sugar level was so "low," our grand professors gave us candy to help raise it. Yum :-)
It was a good day! and learning experience.
