sandblasting pennies, i mean sandblasting teeth, i mean air powder polishing teeth

We cleaned pennies today via air powder polishing. Below are some before and afters and a side by side shot when we were done. This is a VERY effective way to get them clean!!


Thus it's probably an effective way to get teeth clean... or at least the stains off of them. Patients will LOVE this because it's quick and effective. That's if they can make it through the NASTY taste and the constant spray of water and particles all over them! Don't spray any composite fillings though. But the stains come off :)! Hopefully I never have to have it done on me again! Puke!

On the flip side (get it? flip a coin!) having your teeth selectively polished with toothpaste is HEAVEN!!! Aaahhhhh!
